Begin rant…
Six years ago, Hard Rock Cafe Times Square would not seat my group because we were 16 minutes late for a reservation (yes, I let them know 1 hour prior we were running late), which put us outside the agreed terms of the contract we had executed by 1 minute. The end result was me having it out with a Manager (Bret) and getting my group fed with no choices – burgers and Cokes
Fast forward to today. My group was seated 17 minutes late for our reservation and forced to sit 5 people at tables clearly setup for 4.
So – once again, I will instruct my team to remove THIS HRC from our approved options list – but I have a thought…
If you can’t handle the business, don’t book it! While this venue is obviously not hurting, the management should be embarrassed at how groups are treated here.
Oh, and Planet Hollywood across the street ALWAYS treats my groups well!
