What A Team!
I just had to take a minute and write about how fantastic the team is at Director’s Choice Tour & Travel!
Over the last 12 years, we have had some impressive people join our ranks. Brilliant, dedicated, and hardworking have always been, in my humble opinion, accurate descriptions of our team members. That said, there is something different – better – about us now.
Is it culmination of experience and dedication? The result of systemic improvements? Could it be the amazing people that show up to work each day? I wish I knew the answer for sure. If I did, I would sit down tonight and start righting a book about how to assemble and retain the perfect workforce. What I do know is that I am more confident in our 2009 trips than ever before, civil unrest (within the workplace) is virtually non-existent, and we are doing a better job than ever with less people.
If you know me at all, you know that I am reserved with my compliments. In fact, few things trouble me more than giving or receiving undeserved praise. So to the entire TEAM DC – keep up the great work! Each of you is making a positive impact on the lives of thousands of music students this year!!
